About Santa Cruz Dance.com
Founded in 2008, Santa Cruz Dance/Santa Cruz Dance.com, is a community-based organization. With a focus on arts advocacy Santa Cruz Dance.com assists and supports the Santa Cruz dance community by striving to create resources, peer support and a forum for conversation. Working to advocate for dance in Santa Cruz and beyond, we assist in the creation and production of original dance.

- Our presenting and co-presenting programs increase visibility for dance artists that engage a diverse community in an effort to bring new audiences to dance
- Seeks to support diversity by crossing into new areas of cultural expression through leading-edge collaborative performance.
At the cornerstone of Santa Cruz Dance.com, National Dance Week Santa Cruz is a pillar for outreach in encouraging the growth and development of Dance by raising the public consciousness to the values, importance and contributions of Dance to our daily lives and culture.
National Dance Week Santa Cruz is well on its way to becoming an annual centerpiece of the local dance repertoire, showcasing all forms of dance throughout the county and encouraging participation in and appreciation of dance, through accessible performances, public exhibitions and free classes. Partnering with several dance studios and instructors, plus the literal hundreds of performers, National Dance Week Santa Cruz is a one of a kind community experience.
This signature event is instrumental in furthering the vision of promoting and enhancing the dance community while creating specific opportunities for dance companies and instructors to expand their individual audiences.
