March 17 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Making “the impossible possible, the possible easy, and the easy elegant.” ~Moshe Feldenkrais
In this FREE informational session and sample class you will learn how The Feldenkrais Method® helps you enhance your mind-body connection through somatic awareness.
Group classes in the Feldenkrais Method® (called Awareness Through Movement® classes) help students:
–discover movement habits and address limitations
–explore with mindful attention, curiosity and playful experimentation
–re-establish mind-body connections that may have been disturbed through habitual use, stress or injury
–focus on developmentally-based patterns of behavior
The Feldenkrais Method® helps you rediscover movement range and ease, expanding your options for moving and living more fully, creatively, and with renewed resilience!
This modality is especially helpful for those living with chronic pain or stress. It is gentle enough for all ability levels while be challenging enough for all who seek greater mental and physical integration.
