Our 2018 Kids Yoga Training is here!
Offered in 4 modules, this comprehensive, experiential, and practical Yoga Alliance certified program focuses on how to use modern day yoga tools such as posture, breath, mindfulness, and relaxation to support children’s mastery in the world.
This training teaches the following essential skills, concepts, and techniques:
– The basics of developmental movement
– Kid friendly postures, breathwork, and mindfulness practices
– The development of creative and kid-friendly lesson plans
– How to regulate classroom energy and manage child behavior
– The power of ritual and repetition
– Skillful use of voice and language that engages children
– How to use props with children
– Fun songs and games
– The magic of play and imagination

About Lynda Meeder:
An international yoga trainer and mentor, Lynda is an Experienced Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher at the 500-hour level (E-RYT500), an Integrated Movement Therapy® certified therapist, and an accomplished certified Level Two teacher in the MELT® Method.
Lynda holds a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and has completed post-graduate training in Gestalt psychology and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy treatment of trauma. She has developed and delivered custom yoga trainings for corporations, schools, and educational conferences. Her insights about teaching yoga have appeared in Yoga Journal. From 2009-2012, she served as Director of Training for YogaKids® and has taught yoga and mindfulness for childrens’ programs throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
