Penny Ice Creamery: Candy Cap Mushroom – Patiently waiting …… finally! The Candy Cap mushrooms have revealed themselves in the Santa Cruz mountains and our expert forager friends have hunted them for us! Without being told the flavor, it may be hard to tell that you are eating mushrooms in your ice cream. In fact, most would never guess as much. That is the magic of the Candy Cap. Notes of maple, brown sugar and butterscotch embody this rich custard and bring smiles to your inner forest gnome.

Chocolate the Restaurant: We will be featuring gluten-free wuiches and appetizers.

Culinary Mushroom week culminates with Fungus First Friday at Artisans Gallery and with the 44th annual Fungus Fair at Louden Nelson Center in Santa Cruz on Jan 12, 13 and 14, 2018.
