Join The Coastal Watershed Council for River Health Days! At River Health Days each fall, native plant experts teach volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to remove invasive plants like fennel and ice plant and reintroduce native species such as mugwort, and wildflowers. Invasive species grow rapidly along the two-mile long Santa Cruz Riverwalk and hinder the growth of native plants.
