NextTalk: Business Basics for Nonprofits with Susan True
February 12 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Have you always wanted to start a nonprofit or increase the success of your current organization? Then this is a do not miss event!
We are honored to host Susan True, CEO of Community Foundation Santa Cruz County, with a discussion on Powerful Solutions and Creativity: The Social Intersection of Businesses and Nonprofit Organizations.
Did you know that Santa Cruz County has solved some of our biggest problems? For example, every child had health insurance coverage here long before the Affordable Care Act; we’ve greatly reduced child maltreatment rates; we’ve preserved thousands and thousands of acres of land for public benefit; we are helping teachers buy their first homes…and so much more! Every solution in our County has come through the dreams, ideas and hard work of our neighbors.
Come learn about:
-How nonprofits are changing the county
-The in’s and out’s of becoming and succeeding as a nonprofit
-Community Foundation’s work to bring together people, ideas and resources to make this a thriving place for all who call it home
